Below you can see that the average hourly Manufacturing earnings in 1984 was $9.05. In 1994, it was $12.04. Since 12.04/9.05 = 1.33. 
So the hourly wage in Manufacturing increased 33%. In 2004, average hourly Manufacturing earnings were $16.14. 16.14/12.04 = 1.3405. 
So the hourly wage in Manufacturing increased 34.05%.
